Spill Festival: To Wither And Bloom

To Wither and Bloom is an afternoon of discussion and activity on the subject of floriography, the language of flowers and plants. Floriography has long been connected with myths, herbalism, culture and art, and now we invites you to step into this world.

to wither and bloom // sunday 15th october // st. stephen’s church // 12pm-5pm // free

Founder and artist Ben Driver will be in conversation with Michael Perry aka Mr. Plant Geek uncovering how flowers have influenced the way they see the world, how flowers have spoken to them, and how they use flowers to speak. Afterwards you can explore your own connection with flowers in a zine-making workshop alongside a live performance from artist Girl Guide.
